HelpHow easy is it to place a memorial?Very easy! Starting a memorial simply involves typing in a few basic details. Once this process is completed you can choose to save and/or print out your Certificate of Registration. This shows your unique usercode and password, which allows you to edit your memorial at anytime. You can also choose to change your password at anytime. When deciding to place a memorial, please don't worry if, for instance, you are missing one or two details. You can start your memorial with the barest facts and return to it at any time in the future to add more information or photographs. One good tip is to compose the eulogy beforehand as a Microsoft Word (or similar) document. Save this with a name such as 'EulogyDad' and when you've completed it, simply copy the document, go to the ForeverRemembered website, log in and paste it into the eulogy section of your memorial. If at any time you need to add or make changes to the eulogy, do this in the saved Word document and using the same procedure as before, log in to your memorial and replace the entire document complete with your changes.
How do I add photos?If you have photos on your computer already, when you press the "Add a Photo" button it will allow you to browse through to your pictures, which are normally stored in 'My Documents/My Pictures". You simply click on the picture of your choice and it is automatically added to your memorial. We would strongly recommend that before adding a photo you reduce its size to a width of no more than 600 pixels. Most photo software allows you to resize an image very simply. The site will accept high definition images but large files will take a long time to load and are unnecessary for viewing on a PC screen. If you only have original photos and no means of scanning them, we offer a postal service where we will scan your pictures, remove any serious blemishes and add them to your site. You only need pay when we have completed adding the photos to your memorial.
Do I have to add a photo?No, but it will certainly enhance your memorial. The first thing to remember is that you can add or edit your memorial at any time. There is no need to worry about adding a photo or photos when you first book your memorial.
